Directions to Swartswood Lake (Hendershot Boat Launch)

From the East via Route 80:
Route 80 West to Exit 25,
Route 206 North, about 12 miles into Newton
Continue 1/2 of the way around the town square,
Bear right onto 206 North.
Turn left at light onto Mill Street.
Follow Mill Street for about 1/2 mile.
Turn left at light at Sussex County College Sign
onto Swartswood Road (Route 622)
Follow Swartswood Road for about 4 1/2 miles.
Turn left onto Route 619 at sign for
Swartswood State Park.
Continue past entrance to State Park on Route 619 South
After passing State Park entrance, continue about
1 mile to Hendershot Boat Launch and parking area.

Directions to Highland Lakes C.C.
Highland Lakes, New Jersey

From the west or north:
NJ Route-94 to Vernon, to NJ-Rte 515 south to Breakneck Road.
Turn left on Breakneck Road and stay on it as it turns left at an intersection. The club house will be ahead on the right.

From the south and east:
Take NJ Route-23 northwest to NJ Rte-515. Turn right and take Rte-515 north until you get to Highland Lakes Road (Rte-638). Turn right. At the stop sign, turn right on to Breakneck Road, the club building will be ahead on the right.

Directions to Spruce Run (Hunterdon Sailing Club)

From South: Take I-95 north through Philadelphia and continue on I-95 into NJ crossing the Delaware River north of Trenton. After crossing the bridge in NJ, continue on I-95 to exit for NJ Rt. #31 North and continue on 31 to Clinton - intersection of Rtes 31 and I-78. Follow directions below.

From East: Take I-78 West from the NJ Turnpike (or GS Parkway) continue on I-78 and exit at Clinton onto NJ Rt. #31 North. Follow directions below.

From West: Take I-78 East from eastern PA, cross into NJ and continue to Clinton, exiting at NJ RT. #31 North. Follow directions below.

FROM INTERSECTION OF NJ RT.#31 AND I-78: Spruce Run is approximately 3 miles north of this intersection on your left. At the 3rd traffic light above the 31-78 intersection make left onto Van Syckles Rd. (brown signs will indicate Spruce Run Recreations Area). Follow this road to the park entrance on your left. Go through the entrance and follow the signs to the boat launch area. HSC is located on the far right of the boat storage area.

Directions to Green Pond Y.C.
Green Pond, New Jersey

From the east:
Take NJ Route-23 northwest to La Rue Road.
Take the La Rue Road Exit, then turn left and cross Route 23. Get back on Route 23 going the opposite direction, and then take the first right onto Green Pond Road (Route 513).
Go 3 miles. Turn right onto Johnson Road. Follow to the stop sign. Past the guard shack, to the end. Boat washing will be on your right.

From the west or south:
Take I-80 to exit 37. Take Rte 513 (Green Pond Road) north for 8.5 miles. Take then next left onto Johnson Road. Turn right onto Johnson Road. Follow to the stop sign. Past the guard shack, to the end. Boat washing will be on your right.

Directions to Island Beach on Mountain Lake
Mountain Lakes, New Jersey

From Points North:
287 South to exit 45 - Myrtle Avenue toward Boonton
Turn left on Mytle Avenue (Rt 202)
Turn right on Main Street
Follow Main Street through Boonton. The road will bend hard to the left and go up a hill.
At the top of the hill will be a Gas Station and a King's grocery store on the right the road will fork.
Take the left fork. Main Street becomes Elcock Road which becomes the Boulevard.
You will pass two large stone pillars
AFTER the stone pillars you will pass six intersections on the left side of road. You will then see a lake on your left side.
Opposite the next street on your right (Tower Hill Road) will be the entrance to Island Beach.

From Points South:
287 North to 80 West
80 West to Exit 42B toward US-46 / Parsippany
Merge onto Cherry Hill Road
Turn Left onto Route 46 West
Follow 46 up hill past TGI Friday's on Left, through one light and under train tressel.
Make a right at the next light onto the Boulevard.
The entrance to Island Beach is on the right side of the street opposite the fifth road on the left (Tower Hill Road).

From Points East:
80 West to Exit 42B toward US-46 / Parsippany
Merge onto Cherry Hill Road
Turn Left onto Route 46 West
Follow 46 up hill past TGI Friday's on Left, through one light and under train tressel.
Make a right at the next light onto the Boulevard.
The entrance to Island Beach is on the right side of the street opposite the fifth road on the left (Tower Hill Road).

From Points West:
80 East to Rt 46 East via Exit 38
Continue on 46 East up small hill. You will pass the Mountain Lakes Animal Hospital on the right. Get in the left lane.
Make a left at the light onto the Boulevard. (If you pass under the train tressel, you have gone too far)
The entrance to Island Beach is on the right side of the street opposite the fifth road on the left (Tower Hill Road).
